Prize Winning News!

Your Scotland Competition

We have been awarded first prize in RM's 'Your Scotland' competition!  Our school now has a year's free subscription to two creative computer packages - BrainPOP and J2e, worth £945.  Children can use these at home for research, homework and fun, by logging into Glow.

The winning entry was from our Rosebank Raising Raisins Team, about their work with Dundee Foodbank.  It not only won the national prize...... the judges were so impressed they have invited the team to Glasgow to visit the Science Centre on Wednesday 25th November 2015!   Click here to see the winning entry and explore our J2e blog.

Fantastic News for our Code Club!

Our Code Club has been awarded Star Club Status - only the second club in Scotland to be recognised in this way!  It means we get to display a Star Club Badge, we get some freebies like Raspberry Pis, a trophy and more.  We have to promise to show off our awesome coding skills to visitors who might be thinking of starting a club elsewhere.

We are very proud of all our Code Club members, the new ones, the not so new and those that have been to every session since we started in August 2014.  Congratulations everyone!

Rosebank Raising Raisins

A team of P5s have started a Social Enterprise Company called 'Rosebank Raising Raisins', with the aim of helping others in the community.  They recently visited our neighbours at Dundee Foodbank and had a tour to see how they could help.  They learned that donations of food are always needed and so they are appealing to everyone to bring to school something from this shopping list:

A bag of sugar

A carton of fruit juice

A tin of soup

Tinned tomatoes

A tin of rice pudding

Tinned meat

Tea Bags
